Unfortunately Master Leon Jay was unable to attend due to family problems in the U.S. Allbeit The seminar was a great success as Che'gu Ariffin astounded the 40 participents with his 'introduction' to Silat Melayu. At the end of the day there were requests for more seminars and SMUK had gained a handful of new members.

Looks like there will be more seminars to come........watch this space...........

Three of the four pesilat, namely Simon Lee, Nicolas Cala and Amina Jindani successfully passed the course and were awarded their red belts.

As a final test the three pesilat had to perform a demonstration for His royal Highness, Raja Dato' Seri Ashman Shah ibni Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak in front of an audience of 600 Silat Seni Gayong pesilat.
